A collegue of mine brought this place to my attention a few months ago and I have been reading what parts I had access to since, but seeing as I did not know any of you it was mostly for observation.  It now appears that I have reason to join the conversation.

As we saw on Saturday, there is a serious problem in this city that needs to be addressed.  I think that we hit the enemy head-on (whether that was the best plan or not is a moot point), and now we will have to wait a bit to see what these Hunters do in response.  It is unsettling that they know so much about us.  While I am not the type to passively wait for something to happen, we will need to be patient to see if our ruse worked.

I also assume, as all of you should, that the filing cabinet we raided is not their only copy of the records that they have on us.  So use that knowledge as both a weapon and a shield.  It is a far assumption those were the most current files, so now each of you know the knowledge they have gathered on you; you should use this to gird yourself against this threat.

I'm sure that even if they do buy the story that we fabricated, they won't just give up on us.  We need to stand together as a city, stare these Hunters in the eyes and get them to back off.  Mortals are unpredicable, and often wreckless, so we must be careful to be assertive without coming off as a dangerous group of individuals that need to be culled.  Mortals fear what they do not understand, and often react poorly to that which they do not understand.

No plans, leastwise not for a while. I need ta get myself settled in here if I'm plannin' on stickin' around. And based on what I saw at the warehouse, I think I might just want to hang out a while.

I am curious by the number of psychics they have on hand Mr. Potter. It has been a while since I met someone whose mind naturally eludes me and in one night we get graced by two. With enough of them spying around in the city, it's a wonder how often we remember ourselves different from the mortals around us.

Perhaps we would do well with our minds free of supernatural thoughts in the time being as we gather more information. It seems that their prorities are spilt between herding us in the same room and taking down a certain creation that looks human. Something in this city is successfully using the public eye to dodge and hide from the hunters. How long would it take before we have another interesting incident when the hunters are sucessful in cornering that boy?

There are several bars and clubs in town since we have quite an active college population.

I would offer employment since Revy spends more time drinking than mixing when we are short of help, but it is not exactly the type of club I would recommend to women who are looking to preserve their reputations.

I suppose it is possible that there are far more mortals with supernatural like powers than we suspect.  If the number of us at that meeting on saturday is any indication of how many of us are in Huntsville, it is a fair assumption that there are plenty of mortals with gifts as well.  I do not know much about the powers and capabilities of those who do not belong to The People, but if any of you have any information gathering skills or the ability to sense the gifts of other beings, mortal or otherwise, I would recommend to do some independent investigation.   Be careful of course, but I'm sure that with our wide variety of skill sets we can gather more info on this threat.

Addtionally, I think it would be wise to possibly meet again, in say a month or so.  If she is willing, perhaps Belle would let us meet at her place again.  If we work together and share any information we have gathered between us, we could move forward as a unified force, with a solid plan to defend all of us here in Huntsville.

I may not be too good with research, or academics, or computers, or driving, or socializing, or.... well you get the point....


but I am pretty dedicated to protecting the innocent, and I see us all as innocent...none of you have, to my knowledge, done any harm to the mortals (except those damnable vampires....) so you certainly have my staff as well as my abilities at your disposal. I serve to protect.

Kakarot perhaps you could escort some of our less combat savvy fellows if they plan on doing anything particularly dangerous.  Not all have your combat prowess, so I'm sure you would be of great help to those that don't.  If I were you, I would try to use these boards to coordinate such an excursion.

True, I think it is in everyone's best interest to work together, I for one could stand to see everyone working toward a better future. Perhaps we could even come to some sort of concordat...

Oh and not all vampires are antagonistic of mortals.
